The meeting will provide an update on the development of vaccines to prevent some of the diseases that are causing most concern among scientists and veterinarians and which pose the biggest threats to the swine industry. Presentation subjects include vaccine vector development, EC-funded development of a marker vaccine for Classical Swine Fever, prospects for a vaccine against African Swine Fever, PRRSV and PCV2.

Pfizer Animal Health has significantly increased its research on emerging diseases in recent years and during the main conference it will present the results of studies in different areas, such as swine influenza, marker CSF vaccine and the assessment and implications of PCV maternally derived antibodies in piglets.

The satellite symposium will be held in the main congress centre on 13 June from 5pm to 6.30pm. All delegates are welcome to attend.
