Worldwide, the Ukrainians known as a specialist in pork production, according to an official source. Therefore, the main task in this industry – not just to move away from dependence on imports, but also become one of the main exporters of this product. This is now the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, Mykola Prysyazhnyuk, during the visit to Dnipropetrovsk region.

According to the Head of Agrarian Policy, Ukraine will soon adopt the programme of development pig production.

The minister says: "We must find a new scheme and new growing technology and production of pork meat. This will allow, firstly, to have large amounts of pork and finally move away from dependence on imports and secondly, to increase employment and incomes of the rural population."
