One More Outbreak of CSF in Russia

RUSSIA - The Russian veterinary authorities have reported yet another outbreak of classical swine fever in Krasnodar Krai.

The World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) received follow-up report no. 10 on Wednesday, 28 September. The outbreak occured at a farm in Krasnodar Krai.

According to the report, a total of 1766 animals were found susceptible to the disease, out of which six cases were identified. All 1766 animals were destroyed.

The source of the outbreak remains inconclusive.
