German Producers Want British Creep Feed
GERMANY - BOCM Pauls is continuing to grow in the German specialist pig feed market with the opening of new offices to house the headquarters of its Germany subsidiary. The new offices will accommodate the sales administration and customer services functions necessary to keep up with the expansion being experienced in the demand for the company's feeds.
BOCM Pauls has had a presence in Germany for many years, previously represented by Tucks Deutschland and Cranswick Deutschland who were merged in 2010 to form BOCM Pauls Ltd.
"Germany has the largest pig population in Europe with 2.1 million sows. It represents a substantial market for us to aim at with producers increasingly realising the financial advantages of high quality feeding for the baby pig," said Tony Suckling, BOCM Pauls international director.
"We have a sales network covering the whole of Germany and we are continually expanding our sales organisation to keep pace with the increasing demand for our products."
