Pig Slaughterings Up in January 2012
IRELAND - Pig slaughterings in Ireland rose by 12.8 per cent compared to January 2011.According to the latest CSO Livestock Survey, the number of cattle slaughtered in January 2012 increased by 3.1 per cent compared to a year ago.
Sheep slaughterings in January 2012 increased by 15.5 per cent.
