Government Updates Regulation on Direct CAP Payments
SPAIN - The Cabinet has approved a Royal Decree amending Royal Decree 202/2012 on the implementation from 2012 of direct payments of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) for 2013, with regard to various help schemes.

By: With this modification, there remains another year of national support in order to strengthen market stability.
Moreover, with this Royal Decree is launched one of the actions contained in the plan of action to improve the Geographic Information System of Farming Land (SIGPAC), developed by the Spanish Agricultural Guarantee Fund (FEGA), to request of the European Commission.
This ratio and the eligible area result of its application, can be viewed by querying the enclosures of pasture in SIGPAC.
