Technical and academic speakers will present the latest developments influencing pig meat quality in the UK, Europe, America.

Emma Bailey-Beech, BPEX’s Pork Safety and Quality Manager, says: "Topics will include breaking the chain of zoonoses, the opportunities for boar taint management, recent developments and horizon scanning, food forensics and traceability and the US approach to eating quality."

There will be a discussion in the afternoon, so Emma urges attendees to bring their questions, ideas and experience along for a lively, informative debate. Attendance is free and lunch will be provided.
