Key producers and representatives from the British pig industry were invited for a presentation and tour of the new facility prior to the high health facility being stocked.

The new stud, one of the largest AI stations in the UK, will accommodate 260 boars when fully stocked and is in an excellent location to service Hermitage Seaborough's growing UK market.

This is Hermitage Seaborough’s second AI station in the UK, the first being established at North Tawton, Devon in 1999.

The new stud represents state of the art design with automatic semen collection and stainless steel boar divisions and filtered soft air ventilation. The laboratory process is ISO9001 approved and the stud will also be EU licensed facilitating export of semen worldwide.
