Disease Control Discussed at SENASA Training

ARGENTINA – Pig producers met with the National Health and Food Quality Service (SENASA) at a training session to discuss disease control in the city of Toay last week.

The training was led by Miguel Giretti who spoke on pig health topics as part of the Provincial Swine Activation Policy.

Mr Giretti explained current health programmes for Auszesky’s disease, brucellosis, trichinellosis and tuberculosis to the farmers in attendance.

During the year, the Regional Center will continue to develop various skills that allow the Agency to strengthen its commitment to public health and producers will continue to receive advice on animal health.
