Both a state of the art congress venue that offers all the necessary infrastructure for a meeting of this relevance and an experienced team of experts to support the organisation of IPVS 2014 have been selected in order to accomplish the objective of a successful scientific event in a relaxing and friendly environment.

In order to maintain the high scientific standard of IPVS, the organising committee has already started to integrate a premium panel of international and national swine experts into its scientific committee. Thus, allowing participants to acquire new and relevant information related to swine health, reproduction, nutrition, management, environment, welfare and other fields of interest.

Finally, the social programme will strengthen networking among fellow colleagues in an atmosphere of tradition and cultural activities. This wonderful setting is surrounded of mangroves, reefs, tropical rainforest, cenotes, white sand beaches and colossal pyramids such as Chichen Itza, one of the Modern Seven Wonders of the World.
