African Swine Fever Found in Pskov

RUSSIA - Preliminary tests on the carcassof a pig from a smallholding in the Pskov region have found African Swine Fever.

The samples have been sent to the state veterinary authorities for confirmation of the disease.

Currently, official veterinary controls are being imposed in the Pskov region by Rosselkhoznador for Tver and Pskov.

Pskov is in the west of the Russian Federation, bordering Estonia, Latvia and Belarus.
