ASF Found in Smolensk and Moscow Regions
RUSSIA - Veterinary authorities have identified more cases of African swine fever in the Smolensk and Moscow regions.
Samples taken from six pigs on a private farm in Viazma in Smolensk and also from dead pigs in the Lotoshinsky district of Moscow were found to have African swine fever.
Rosselkhoznador said the authorities are putting in control measures as a priority in these regions.
Rosselkhoznador has also revealed that there are concerns that African swine fever could also be transmitted to Tartasan and the region is taking precautionary measures.
