VION Food Netherlands Concentrates Pork Production
NETHERLANDS - VION Food Netherlands plans on further concentrating its pork activities with VION Food Boxtel taking over the activities of VION Food Helmond.

This decision is the result of VION Food Group’s new course, which was announced on 24 April this year.
The change is part of the restructuring of food activities in the Netherlands and Germany.
VION said that this efficiency measure is necessary to restore results on the highly competitive pork market.
The change will affect the jobs of 130 people, who VION said it will do its utmost to re-assign staff internally. This partly depends on the redundancy scheme to be agreed upon.
The Group Works Council at VION Food Netherlands has been asked for its recommendations with regard to the proposed decision.
