Second African Swine Fever Case in Polish Wild Boar

POLAND - Another wild boar found dead in eastern Poland has tested positive for the African Swine Fever virus.

The veterinary authority sent Follow Up Report No. 1 dated 24 February the the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE).

It describes the finding of one wild boar in Kruszyniany, which is in Podlaskie, the same region of eastern Poland where the previous cases were found. The carcass tested positive for the African Swine Fever virus.
