UK - The latest issue of the BPEX Quarterly Category Report has just been published, giving a snapshot of the retail side of the industry.

For the 12 weeks ending on 27 April, the total fresh pork sales in terms of both volume and value were slightly down.
However, some products, such as mince, marinades and diced or cubed pork have shown growth in volume and ham was up 3.5 per cent.
The report gives an overview of how the retailers are performing and then goes into more detail on fresh pork, bacon, sausages and ham.
