African Swine Fever Found in Wild Boar in Poland

POLAND - A wild boar has tested positive for African swine fever in eastern Poland, according to the Russian veterinary service.

On 10 July, a wild boar found dead was confirmed with African swine fever, according to Rosselkhoznadzor, which adds this is the eighth outbreak in the country.

The animal was in the county of Podlaskie, which is in the east of the country, borders Belarus and a region where previous cases have been reported.
