FAO Meat Price Index Rises on Short Supplies Due to PED

GLOBAL - The FAO Meat Index has risen as the result of tighter supplies of pork following porcine epidemic diarrhoea (PED) outbreaks. The FAO Food Price Index has fallen for a third consecutive month, mainly on lower cereal and vegetable oil prices.
