Tyson Foods, Hillshire Brands Agree to Merger
US - Tyson Foods, Inc. and The Hillshire Brands Company have announced that they have entered into a definitive agreement under which Tyson Foods will acquire all outstanding shares of Hillshire Brands for $63 per share. The transaction is scheduled to close by 27 September 2014.
