BestReader registers the sow number and transfers it wirelessly and quickly to smartphones and tablets via Bluetooth.

The BigFarmNet app, which is available for the established operating systems Android and iOS, connects the transponder number and the corresponding animal data. The farm manager is thus always up-to-date in his sow house, whether he is online or offline. It is easily possible to use several end devices.

Compared to similar readers, BestReader is very small and light. It is hardly larger than a pack of cigarettes, only weighs 126g and will not break, even when dropped from a height of up to two metres.

The reader is equipped with a power button and a button to activate the reading process. The battery is charged by an inductive charger and lasts for approximately one week. As the reader requires absolutely no plug contacts, ingress protection rating IP 69 applies. This is official proof that the reader is not sensitive, and is protected against dust and watertight.

The BigFarmNet app synchronises the transferred data automatically and in real time with the BigFarmNet management program on the office PC. No manual synchronisation via cable is necessary thanks to the wireless network or GSM. The management program is based on the innovative BigFarmNet technology which is able to interconnect the entire farm. All applications and control computers belong to one single programme.
