In modern pig farming, it is essential to gather and record the correct information items to optimise production. This allows negative influences to be recognised quickly, analysed and avoided, in order to contribute to improved production.

At EuroTier 2014, Hotraco Agri will present its latest development in state-of-the-art climate control and barn automation equipment.

The company will especially focus on our SmartFlow ventilation system; a new, highly accurate ventilation system without measuring fan for pigsties. It uses a new measuring method that enables ventilation to be regulated more precisely than ever, even when only minimum ventilation is required. The system bases its measurements on pressure differences between the pig compartment and the central ventilation duct.

Further, Hotraco Agri will display its full automatic control system for dry-feeding. When using multi-phase feeding it is possible to feed per animal or per feeding bin. Hotraco Agri's computer can compose a mixture of different feed types, so the mixture always suits the animals. The feed components are supplied from silos as well as the dosing appliances. If required, the feed can be crushed by means of a crusher. The quantity and the composition of a feed ration are saved in a feed chart. The feeding amount and times are set in a biorhythm chart.
