Ontario Reports Fifth PED Outbreak of This Winter
ONTARIO, CANADA - The province announced a new outbreak of porcine epidemic diarrhoea (PED) in Christmas week.

By: The latest outbreak, in a farrow-to-wean house in the region of Waterloo, was confirmed on 23 December, according to Ontario Pork.
This was the fifth outbreak in the province since the summer of 2014 and the Ontario total now stands at 69.
