More ASF Reported in Russia

RUSSIA - A new outbreak of African Swine Fever has been reported in wild boar in the country.

The carcasses of two wild boars were found on the territory of the State wildlife preserve "Kaluzhskiye Zaseki" near the village of Novaya.

Laboratory studies confirmed that the wild boars were infected with ASF.

The first outbreak of ASF on the territory of the State wildlife preserve "Kaluzhskiye Zaseki" was detected on 18 January 2015.
