More Pig Farms Hit by African Swine Fever in Estonia

ESTONIA - There have been three more outbreaks of African Swine Fever affecting small pig holdings in Estonia.

The first outbreak was in a backyard pig holding with only one pig. The pig died from the disease. This outbreak occurred in Valga province.

The other two outbreaks occurred on farms. These had a combined susceptible population of 547, and there were four infected pigs, which all died. These two outbreaks occurred in Viljandi province.
