African Swine Fever Kills More Backyard Pigs in Lithuania

LITHUANIA - There have been 10 more outbreaks of African Swine Fever in Lithuania.

Six of the outbreaks affected backyard pigs, with seven deaths in total. Seven pigs were also destroyed to prevent the disease spreading.

There were also four cases in wild boar, of which two animals died and two were destroyed.

The outbreaks took place in the Utena, Vilnius and Panevezys regions.
