Further African Swine Fever Cases Found in Russia

RUSSIA - There have been five more outbreaks of African Swine Fever in Russia, one of which has affected village pigs.

One pig died in the outbreak in Ivankovo village in Ryazanskaya Oblast. Another three pigs were destroyed.

There were also six cases in wild boar in several regions of western Russia. Three wild boar died and another four were destroyed to prevent the disease spreading.
