More Pigs Affected by Russian African Swine Fever Outbreaks

RUSSIA - There have been five more outbreaks of African Swine Fever in Russia.

Four of the outbreaks occurred in village pig holdings, affecting 24 animals out of a total of 46 susceptible animals.

There were 20 deaths from the disease, and the other 26 pigs were destroyed to prevent further spreading.

There were also seven deaths from African Swine Fever in wild boar.

The outbreaks occurred in the Bryanskaya, Ryazanskaya and Orlovskaya regions.
