The event is an opportunity for pork producers, veterinarians and students of all ages to hear the latest industry developments; the day includes a number of specialist speakers who will cover a range of important topics.

Running from 9am until 4:35pm in the Scheman Building on the University campus in Ames, it will be followed by a free barbeque, cooked by award-winning Smokey D’s , courtesy of AB Vista and Techmix.

AB Vista spokesperson Dr Casey Bradley, says the day will be a great opportunity to connect with, and learn from, industry experts.

“This well-established event, now in its fifth year, continues to provide attendees with a wealth of information and deserves its place as a key event on the swine calendar. We encourage anyone connected with the pork industry to register,” she said.

Registration before midnight on June 17 costs $60 and includes lunch and refreshments. Delegates can also register on the day of the event from 7:30am for $80. Students of all ages can receive a $35 discount on registration.
