CME update: lean hog futures fall back as seasonal pressure weighs on market

US lean hog futures eased on profit-taking on 12 October, pulling back on five days of gains.

Reuters reports that US lean hog futures ended lower on 12 October, as profit-taking pulled back the market after five straight days of gains.

Chicago Mercantile Exchange October lean hogs advanced 0.050 cent to 78.175 cents per pound. Most-active December hogs settled 0.50 cents lower at 66.625 cents.
