According to a report from Reuters, China will auction 20,000 tonnes of frozen pork from its state reserves on Dec. 30. The announcement came from a notice published by the China Merchandise Reserve Management Center on Friday.

Beijing sold 20,000 tonnes of frozen pork from the reserves last week, in an effort to contain rising prices of the meat ahead of new year holidays.
