A large event for the Americas, United Pork Americas will bring together international experts to discuss the market, a swine exclusive exposition with an estimated 150 companies present, and feature socializing and relationship building, training, and education on the latest technology for pig farming. A comprehensive event, United Pork Americas brings together five events in one.

With the theme "The Future of Pork," United Pork Americas will be held from April 19-21 in Orlando, Florida, U.S.

Flavia Roppa, President of United Pork Americas, explains this will be a unique event that will offer rich experiences around the global swine industry. “The 40 leading experts in the international production chain will discuss the challenges of the segment and shed light on the future of the international meat market. At the same time, the swine exclusive exposition, with 3,000 square meters and an estimated 150 technology supplier and industry companies, will see an estimated 1,000 delegates every day,” she said.

United Pork America will also offer moments of socializing and relationship building among participants, with tasting of pork dishes that show a 'mosaic' of recipes and preparations representative of various nations. “We are going to explore the gastronomic potential of pork while establishing contacts and conversations to expand the network of those involved in the swine production chain,” Roppa said.

The technical update is also part of the event's program. “Growing and evolving is a very important part of any industry, and pig farming is no different. The event will offer training and education for professionals at United Pork Americas. Topics include climate change, big data, logistics, food safety, health crises, consumer demands, sustainability, alternative proteins, nutrition, animal welfare, meat quality, designation of origin and use of antibiotics. A real dive into education and training, in a totally new, dynamic way, United Pork Americas will offer three days of presentations in simultaneous parallel rooms with direct translation into English, Spanish and Portuguese,” Roppa highlighted.
