With five months to go before kick off, visitor interest in EuroTier/EnergyDecentral 2022 is currently very high, organisers said in a press release. Some 98% of visitors surveyed are considering attending the international trade fairs in Hanover, Germany.

While 62% are already certain that they will be visiting the trade fairs in Hanover in November, some 36% plan to make a decision over the next few months, according to the latest survey by the EuroTier and EnergyDecentral Visitor Tracker, a tool monitoring the visitor intentions and interests in the international agricultural sector. Around 2,000 potential visitors to EuroTier/EnergyDecentral from Germany, Europe and other international agricultural regions took part in the first online survey.

EuroTier, a leading trade fair for professional animal farming and livestock management, will be held together with EnergyDecentral, the leading international trade fair for decentralised energy supply, from 15 to 18 November 2022 in Hanover, Germany.

"Animal welfare, sustainability, digitalization as well as automation and robotics are the topics that occupy the international livestock industry," said Ines Rathke, EuroTier project manager. "The high level of visitor interest evident in the survey underlines the importance of EuroTier as the leading platform for strategies and innovations in the industry."

"The high level of interest in the products and services from our exhibitors - starting with livestock and breeding programs, animal housing and barn constructions, milking and environmental technology to husbandry and feeding technology - also shows the importance of EuroTier as a leading trade fair for investments," she concluded.

European farmers have expressed interest in the event as well.

"At EuroTier, I’m probably going to explore some of the data platforms, which collect and manage all farm data, like feeding and slaughter. The aim is to reduce manual labour which is our biggest cost. Networking is an important part of EuroTier," said Henrik Refslund Hansen, a Danish pig farmer.

“I am already looking forward to the flair of this EuroTier with all its forums and discussion rounds and am counting on a lot of visitors with intensive discussions," said Friedrich-Wilhelm Temme, a pig farmer from Germany.

“EuroTier is perfect opportunity for us to identify new equipment that we can consider for our expansion. We are also interested in animal welfare solutions," said Tommy and Patrick Fahey, a dairy farmer from Ireland.

“EuroTier offers the opportunity to discover innovations, to see them, to obtain explanations and to establish contacts, even away from the well-known companies and products," said Stefan Teepker, a German poultry farmer.e
