OIE: 17 New ASF Outbreaks in Voronezhskaya

RUSSIA - Seventeen new outbreaks of African Swine Fever (ASF) have been reported to the OIE.

The outbreaks were reported in villages through out Voronezhskaya state.

The outbreaks affected both swine and wild boar.

In total, around 32 cases were reported in swine and two in wild boar.

Overall, there were 34 deaths and one pig was destroyed.

The outbreak is thought to be due to contact with wild species.
