Best Product Innovation Award for Olmix

VIET NAM - The 3rd Vietstock show held in Hanoi on 25-27 November had more than 100 exhibitors and was visited by several thousand trade professionals and integrators representing farmers, meat processors, food importers, feed millers, veterinarians, distributors and retailers from the livestock, feed and meat processing sectors.

During the show, Olmix, the French feed additives manufacturer, was awarded the Outstanding Product Innovation Award for the company's product Mistral by Dr Hoang Kim Giao, Director of Vietnam's Livestock Department.

The award presentation ceremony was held on 25 November 2008 at the National Convention Centre in Hanoi in the presence of Dr Hoang Kim Giao, Director of Vietnam's Livestock Department, during the opening ceremony of Vietstock 2008 Expo & Forum.

Mistral is a management tool to improve hygiene and animal welfare in livestock. Mistral has powerful drying properties and also reduces ammonia levels in piggeries. It is used for drying piglets just after farrowing.
