Maxgro Has Arrived in US
US - MaxgroTM, the new terminal sire line from Hermitage NGT, has just arrived in the United States.It is with great excitement that Hermitage NGT announces the arrival of Maxgro animals.
The first Maxgro boars and gilts were delivered to Canada on 14 September 2009. Hermitage NGT is establishing a high health genetic nucleus at Hermitage Roseland AI station at Gwynne in Alberta.

The Maxgro animals will go through the same rigorous performance testing as other Hermitage pure bred animals and participate in the Hermitage International BLUP process. The top performing animals will be used to establish a genetic nucleus herd in the United States.
The Maxgro is Hermitage's leading terminal sire, setting new records for growth and feed efficiency across markets in Europe and Russia.
The Maxgro is a fast growing and highly efficient animal that will reduce feed costs for the company's US customers.
