UKRAINE - Hermitage continued to strengthen their position in the Ukraine market with successful participation at the recent Animal Farming Exhibition held in Kiev from 4-6 October.

Discussions were held with both new and existing customers interested in the purchase of Hermitage breeding stock and Closed Herd breeding programmes.

Hermitage is one of the largest suppliers of high health genetics to the Ukraine, despite only entering the market two years ago.

Hermitage already provides Closed Herd Breeding Programmes and technical support to their existing clients in the Ukraine and these Breeding Programmes are directly linked to the Hermitage PigBLUP Exchange database in Ireland where the breeding values will be calculated for the Ukranian herds.
