Genesus Continues Chinese Expansion

CHINA - Genesus and Fujian Yichan Agricultural Development Company Ltd. recently formed a long term technical, production and marketing agreement.

Fujian Yichan will import 1,000 Registered Purebred Genesus breeding animals to be housed in a nucleus facility under construction near Nanping city, Fujian Province.

Fujian Yichan Agricultural Development Company Ltd which was begun fifteen years ago, now has six subsidiary companies involved in the production of livestock, feed, breeding pigs, commercial swine production and tea.

The company has received the national and international designation as Demonstration Farm for Standardization, Pollution Free Agricultural Products and ISO 150-2000.

Genesus is the largest registrar of High Health Purebred Pigs in the world with nucleus production in North America, Europe and Asia. Mike Van Schepdael, Vice President Genesus: “Genesus is quite pleased with the Fujian Yichan agreement as it gives further testament to the acceptance of Genesus as a Global leader in swine genetics and production.“
