African Swine Fever Reported in Russian Zoo

RUSSIA - Russia has reported more outbreaks of African Swine Fever (ASF) in wild boar, with one outbreak affecting a zoo.

The zoo, located in Khotynetsky, Orlovskaya, reported two cases out of the 17 susceptible wild boar. All 17 wild boar died or were destroyed in order to prevent the spread.

Seven cases were also reported in wild boar in the Orlovskaya and Moskovskaya areas.
