Pigs transported in the bottom nose portion of a pot-belly trailer showed the greatest degree of stress due to the amount of ramps the pigs had to use during loading and unloading, report J.A. Correa and co-authors in the 2008 Annual Research Report from the Prairie Swine Centre.
