Classical swine fever is reported in Slovakia. Date of initial detection of animal health incident: 19 November.
Estimated date of first infection: 10 October.
Outbreaks: 2 farms (a breeding farm with one fattening unit on a separate farm).
Total number of animals in the outbreaks: 4,286 pigs. Number of cases: 670. Number of deaths: 30. Number of animals destroyed: 4,256.
