Appeals lodged against pork imports

AUSTRALIA - Six appeals have been lodged against Biosecurity Australia's decision to allow pig meat imports into the country. One appeal, by the Regional Veterinary Service from Lombardia in Italy, argues the protocols on imported pig meat are too strict, while the others claim the risk of disease is too great to allow imports.
