Pig producers challenge quarantine
AUSTRALIA - Australian pig producers will carry through their threat against the federal government and take legal action over the handling of the nation's quarantine system. Australian Pork Ltd (APL) chair Paul Higgins said a Federal Court directions hearing had been set down for August 10 over the organisation's application to have new quarantine laws set aside.
