Proof of its efficiency has recently been confirmed by an independent study at Wageningen University. The equipment was put through a series of investigations and tested in direct comparison with other air washers.

Scientists that evaluated the system said that the Big Dutchman washer reduces fine dust (PM 2.5) by more than 90 per cent. The final report concluded that the MagixX had consistently good results were and achieved a marked reduction of ammonia - in fact the ammonia concentration of the filtered exhaust air was so low that it was hardly traceable.

The study was carried out by the request of the Dutch Department of Environment and Agriculture. The study compared three combi-systems from different manufacturers. Big Dutchman is the only company to have published the results.

“This result is excellent and great value as the measuring criteria that were applied are much stricter than those applied in Germany” said Big Dutchman product manager Andreas Kerssens.
