The newly developed controller for the Callmatic 2 electronic sow feeding (ESF) system belongs to a new generation of advanced computer technology, says Big Dutchman.

Introducing a new standard in terms of design and user-friendliness: the new controller for the Callmatic 2 ESF station

Every station controller is able to independently manage an ESF station. At the same time, all connected ESF stations can be centrally monitored and visualized in real-time at a separate PC. The new controller allows the farm manager to control a virtually unlimited number of ESF stations and to connect an oestrus detection device and/or central selection without having to install additional control modules.

Adjustments at the ESF station can be made directly at the controller and are transferred to the office PC, if desired. The station controller is equipped with a clearly arranged display which allows the farm manager to access important information - such as feed consumed - at any time.

By means of an integrated sow management tool it is possible to filter sows or alter the feed curve. An additional advantage of the new controller is that it can also be installed in the aisle and thus permits the farm manger to control his ESF station from outside of the animal area, says Big Dutchman.
