The conference is suited for anyone in the swine industry whether involved in the production or finance. Featured topics include global trade, consumer trends, overall market analysis, production trends, financial management and legislative issues. Attendees also will hear a progress report on the industry We Care initiative, and how pork producers are integrating We Care into their operation's culture.

"The Pork Checkoff provides this conference to offer the most up-to-date production and financial information to those with a financial stake in the success of the US pork industry," said Jon Hoek, chairman of the Pork Checkoff's Producer Services Committee and a pork producer from De Motte, Indiana.

In addition to general sessions on Wednesday and Thursday mornings, three concurrent sessions on more specific financial and production management topics are scheduled for Thursday afternoon. Friday morning features a lender panel discussion as well as sessions on current hot topics.
