The German Agricultural Society (DLG) has once again set up an impartial and international commission of experts to assess the innovations submitted by EuroTier exhibitors up to the beginning of September on the basis of strict criteria. It has awarded three gold and 18 silver medals.

One of the Silver Medals has been awarded to the TrueGreen AI catheter from IMV Technologies and Biocath from Landata/Cobiporc.

The companies offer a 100 per cent bio-degradable catheter for pig insemination corresponding to the EN 13432 Standard. These catheters represent innovations by comparison with the recyclable but non-compostable catheters available so far. Thanks to the 100 per cent bio-degradability through composting, this is an ecologically expedient development.

The stand of IMV Technologies will be in hall 12, stand B38, and that of Landata/Cobiporc is in hall 12, stand E45.

Eurotier 2010 will be held at the Exhibition Grounds in Hanover, Germany, on 16 to 19 November 2010.
