Many pig managers and stockpeople are very good at their job but can they show somebody else how to be just as good? The next BPEX 'Showing Staff How' workshop is on Wednesday 18 May 2011 at the Crown Hotel, Boroughbridge.

BPEX knowledge transfer manager, Jen Waters, said: "This free, one-day course helps pig managers deliver practical instruction in a way that others will remember. Providing clear guidance helps to establish best practice for common farm tasks and maintain consistent work standards."

The day includes interactive discussions and a range of practical tasks, where the participants learn a new skill and pass it on to the others afterwards.

Cedar Associates will lead the training.

The workshop takes place on Wednesday 18 May 2011 from 10:00 to 17:00 at the Crown Hotel, Horsefair, Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire, YO51 9LB.

The deadline for bookings is 12 May.
