Maxgro Progeny Set a New Record
GERMANY - Maxgro progeny from Hermitage Genetics have set a new record for growth rate at an independent test station in Germany.The Iden Test Centre is owned and managed by the German Ministry for Agriculture and the Environment in Saxony-Anhalt. This authority is responsible for the independent evaluation and certification of pig performance tests for breeding organisations.
This year, Hermitage Maxgro progeny were evaluated and these animals set a new record, achieving the highest growth rate recorded in the progeny of terminal boars for fattening since the station starting testing in 1997 – 60g per day faster than the previous record.
