The highlight of the evening was the awards presentation for achieving various levels of production with TOPIGS genetics over a period of one year.
This year’s data from participants included more than 45,000 sows from Western Canada with herds averaging over 1,000 sows per farm.
The most productive TOPIGS' customer herds are now achieving more than 30 weaned piglets per sow per year, more than 14 live-born piglets per litter and over 12 weaned piglets per litter.
