Bank Invests in Kursk Pig Project

RUSSIA - The Russian Agricultural Bank - Rosselkhozbank - is to invest about 900 million rubles in a new pig rearing project called "Hope" in the Kursk region.

The project is to build a new modern pig farm producing 60,000 pigs per year and a significant expansion in the capacity of the existing sites including a feeding line to prepare the feed and and a production area.

Thanks to the backing from the Rosselkhozbank, the "Hope" project has been successfully launched in the region constructing three pig-breeding complexes and a meat-packing plant.

The total amount of credit investment from the agricultural bank on these schemes was more than 900 million rubles.

Today JSC "Hope" is recognised as one of the leading pig industry operations in the Kursk region.
