This is according to a directive from the National Health and Food Quality Service (SENASA) Resolution No. 63/2013.

The new law states that all businesses must be recognised as free of Aujesksy’s disease and Brucellosis.

This means that all pigs utilised by genetic suppliers must have their health condition validated. The protocol involves paperwork and laboratory testing.
